I rarely write reviews, but I will. My lactation doctor used it in her practice and I fell in love immediately. Breastfeeding can be difficult. It is especially difficult with a newborn. Their small mouths make it difficult to get a good grip, causing discomfort for the mother and poor feeding habits for the baby. A good support pillow is crucial. Boppies seem to be everywhere, but this pillow? Works 1000 times better. The flat foam surface keeps baby from rolling, the pillow shape and buckles provide support for both mom and baby, and overall it helps you get a good breast grip. I tried boppies once and then ordered two of them. I ordered a third one for my sister who is on baby #2 and has never used it. she liked it. By the way, I disagree with the reviewer who said the nylon sheath is uncomfortable. I have both and another is upholstered in fabric. They are both comfortable. However, it's better because the cover doesn't need to be washed if the baby burps or you have a leak or, God forbid, a diaper leak. Just wipe and you're done. I ended up putting tape on the other pillow to keep the stains from penetrating the foam. If price is an issue, use Revain's inventory to purchase a returned one, but I recommend this model over others for ease of cleaning.
