Great boots.
Update: They're great for DRY hikes - they're not waterproof at all and the traction lug rusts very quickly after a hike with a few muddy puddles. In the end we only bought very warm wool socks and put on rubber boots for hiking. Excellent quality. My kid is pretty picky about shoes but these shoes are badass. We have taken them on several trips and he loves them.
