As a regular grinder or "tooth dancer" as I call it, I sharpen constantly throughout the day. I can't keep my teeth still and my teeth are worn down as a result, especially on the right side. My bite has become uneven and my teeth are very sensitive. This mouthguard is the first one I've tried and I think I was lucky to have the right brand! The guard was easy to shape (once I got the hang of it after killing the first guard). Fortunately, guards are sold in packs of four. If I lose one I can make another and still have one left for the future. The protection is very comfortable to wear and fits snugly. It's not flashy at all, so I can wear it in public, although I'd rather not wear it to dinner. The main advantage is that my speech is not interrupted in the sight and does not fall out when speaking! I had to trim the tips a bit because I have a very small mouth and short teeth. The contouring was definitely the artistic and longer part of the process. So it would be nice if these shields came in two sizes.
