Bought as a primary zoom mic as all other mics had issues. The volume control on the mic and the mute button are handy. The sound quality is definitely good enough for a "talking voice" which makes it a great addition to Zoom. However, I would NOT make it my first choice for musical instruments or vocals. It could be useful as an inexpensive backup microphone. The included mini tripod is ok, but the 5/8" thread allows me to screw it directly onto a cheap mic stand: no separate mic clip is required, meaning no chance of mic slips and falls.
