I originally bought this because the french clay version was briefly out of stock. Because I have dry, flaky scalp I've tried using different exfoliants in my hair. I've tried using various shampoos and masks for the issue but nothing was working for me. The exfoliants would help relieve the symptoms but nothing really treated the problem until I started using this stuff. I no longer have flakes or itching. It's probably the charcoal that did the trick. I've dropped shampoos altogether and only use this now. Highly recommend it as a scalp scrub.
