My two year old is too big for a pack and play but not really in need of her own bed when traveling (plus she has a floor bed at home, so putting her up on a big queen sized bed seems like a big difference). She loves this cot so much that when she is sick, i'll pull it out and set it up in the living room for her to lay on and watch movies. She sleeps really well on it, I was worried about support but she seems totally fine.
