This handle shape must be legal if you are selling it as a "razor cup". Plus, for the price, it's ridiculous - all my coffee mugs are bigger than these! However after careful testing it was found to meet the advertised specs, it just doesn't match up with most practical use soap washers any better than others I've tried. Luckily, soap melts in the microwave in less than 30 seconds. Seconds depending on composition, so dip the washer all the way into the mug, press the button, remove carefully to avoid splashing, then set aside to cool. The outside of my mug is less hot than when the coffee was heated, so it's probably nothing to worry about. The downside is that for the price it looks and feels cheap and this pen really could have been bigger. I noticed this last difference from a similar Colonel Conk mug that I smashed (I didn't guard it too much after realizing how awful their soaps were and then the silly logo got embarrassing).
