🪒 Ceramic Shaving Soap Mug Bowl with Handle for Enhanced Grip Review

It is exactly as expected. Makes a nicer display on our bathroom shelf compared to razors that just sit there. I am a big fan of antiques and after browsing the local antique centers and not finding exactly what I was looking for I found this. The shelf display is still under development. but this point is a step in the right direction. Came wrapped in bubble wrap in a cardboard box.

Simple mug with clean lines. I melt VDH unscented glycerine soap in it and use it when I want to use aftershave or cologne that doesn't mix well with any of my other soaps. I use the Semogue 1305 with this mug and hard soap. It's just the right size to keep the brush from rattling in the cup and easily creates thick enough lather for 3 passes.

My first mug, feels good in the hand and is very heavy. I inserted my Colonel Konk puck and shot it for 10 seconds at a time until it got into good shape. Lathers easily, cleans well, looks very stylish on the counter. Great addition to my shaving kit!

I bought this for my husband to use with the shaving soap I made for him. He loves to! He said it was a lot easier to hold than a regular mug. It's also very thick and durable.

This handle shape must be legal if you are selling it as a "razor cup". Plus, for the price, it's ridiculous - all my coffee mugs are bigger than these! However after careful testing it was found to meet the advertised specs, it just doesn't match up with most practical use soap washers any better than others I've tried. Luckily, soap melts in the microwave in less than 30 seconds. Seconds depending on composition, so dip the washer all the way into the mug, press the button, remove carefully…

This was a gift to my late father who asked for a shave. He seemed happy with it and it was in a nice box, well protected, intact and suitable for a gift. Arrived as expected.

Nice style but I only use mine in an old barber shop window. The smooth ceramic surface feels slippery when you lather your hands. As for my pure display goals, this is perfect. It goes well with the shaving tools of the era I use. An old style hard soap washer is ideal for this, but one of the newer glycerine based soap washers would be too big.

I wish it had a rounded bottom. But it gets the job done, looks clean and classy, and works well enough. The best part is that it can be reheated in the microwave, making it easy to melt the soap in the mug. It also greatly simplifies garbage collection. It is an essential part of every shaving mug.

I made this purchase based on the looks and the price. It feels good in the hand but the hole at the bottom is too big for the shaving soap I use. Even after using a new washing machine several times, it still moves around in the opening and chases after it, making it difficult to get a good lather. Disappointing and I'll probably look for another shaving mug.
