This is the best small fan I've ever had. I love it. It's about the size of a small coffee cup. It's probably 1 ounce heavy. You can't use this small fan to cool down your house, apartment or even a room. I keep it on my desk next to my laptop. It's strong enough. I don't know how many watts. I can compare it to my portable small heater/fan which is 700w. (5x5x7 inches). Tiny. I can say that this little fan is just as powerful. If you want something really powerful and cold you either need over 1500 watts or at least 20 inches. Ha ha. Otherwise very quiet. At night when I sleep I leave it on my bedside table next to me and let it blow level 1 on my face or body. It's like having a personal servant waving his big feather while I rest my fat ass.
