I am replacing my old DUX king mattress topper with this BioPedic king mattress topper. Dux was expensive compared to this new mattress pad, but we've had it for years and it's time for a new one. This one is very different from Dux. Dux was a 2 1/2" flat thick topper guy with a heavy mattress cover and this BioPedic is long stitched cotton bags not really sure what it is! I threw the info away. My husband is older and if I'm the Husband bin saw he wasn't happy about it when he first lay on it.He said it was lumpy and I didn't want it on our bed.Yes it was lumpy before it settled and smoothed out.I left him over "We lay on the mattress for an hour and pressed it down. After that I then covered our winter bedding with a quilted bedspread. We went to bed a few hours later and my husband was still complaining. The next morning he had to say that he had never slept so well on this BioPedic mattress pad and for the first time in a long time he had no trouble falling asleep immediately without tossing and turning and didn't get up at 5:30 am . He slept until almost 9am, which is very unusual for him. Needless to say, my husband loves this mattress topper. I think this bio pedicum is comfortable and feels cozy. we will.! For the time being I would order this BioPedic mattress again. It seems well made, with a nice soft material. If there are any major changes, I will update this review.
