I've been looking everywhere for a good baby gate for weeks. We have an upstairs apartment so I wanted something really permanent. So happy to have found this, it's SOLID. Not once did it slip when I accidentally bumped into it with the car seat. The finishes are nice too, not just the usual crappy plastic gates. I love that the door closes and locks as I walk through. I never have to worry about it not blocking when my hands are full. Highly recommend for moms who worry about stairs like me. I also bought rubber wall anchor covers and they left no marks on the walls.
