Review on Nutro Natural Choice Large Breed Adult & Senior Dry Dog Food, Chicken - Optimized Nutrition for Larger Dogs & Aging Canines by Austin Hill

We have 2 large dogs (80 and 50lbs) and have been feeding them Nutro Essentials since we switched to adult food over 2 years ago. Love the ingredients and the nutritional value for the money (on par with brands like Blu). Their coat is shiny and healthy, they don't shed as much and they LOVE the taste! They devour their food and lick the plate clean every time! My only complaint is that I wish the granules had more fiber. My black labrador German Shepherd mix had the occasional diarrhea every few weeks for no apparent reason, we took him to the vet and they couldn't do anything wrong. He suggested adding more fiber to his diet, so I started mixing organic pumpkin into both dog foods once a week (pumpkin is high in fiber). Since then they have never had diarrhea again! Their droppings are firm and healthy, and they also love squash. Plus, Nutro is a great dog food!
