The most common problem people have is not sticking to the surface. It's ALL about the preparation. You can't just "stick" them on and expect them to last. As with anything, clean the surface well, making sure you remove all dirt, wax, and oils. I have used starter fluid sprayed onto a rag before applying it to my boat. Two months after they were on the water they are holding up just as well as the day I put them on. There is a lot of light on the water at night. Much brighter than me even though they would be. The green lights just below the outer gunwale are good for fishing and luring bait to the boat, but the light does not depress fish. Point the light OUTSIDE, not down. After about 20-30 minutes when the bait surfaced we saw predatory fish start moving in the 20 inch range.
