I've been using it for both of us since my son was born 8 years ago. First, like many other products, it is non-toxic. This is a barrier sunscreen. Second, it really works. I have never been sunburned while wearing this product and my son has never been sunburned from this product in his 8 years. The downside is that it's a bit harder to rub in than regular sunscreen, but I don't mind that much. Eventually it rubs itself in, even to the satisfaction of adults. You also need to be careful as it is white until rubbed in and gets on your clothes. However, it comes out in the wash. It didn't permanently stain any of my swimwear. I also wear them for outdoor sports when I sweat a lot and my eyes never sting. Doesn't work in the pool either - I don't wear after and still don't burn, and neither does my son, although I only put it on in the morning and he sometimes camps in the pool all day. This is a really great product for parents who want to give their kids something safe and effective.
