I have two well behaved cats, a tabby and a tortoiseshell, except for one tabby who likes to scratch doors in the middle of the night. A few years ago I started putting her to sleep in a separate room with the door closed, but over the past year the tabby kitten has learned to make enough noise with the door and doorknob to wake herself and others in the house. tried everything from adjusting feeding times to toys to barricading the inside of the door for the night. No matter what I tried, he always started messing around on the door around 2-4am and continued non-stop throughout the night. Decided to try this tape based on the reviews. A little nervous as my tabby also has a passion for plastic. But suffice it to say that after gluing the entire bottom half of the door, frame and handle, I didn't hear a single sound from him at night. Not once. At least for now, the tape seems to stick to surfaces well, although I know I'll need to replace it over time. It works for my stubborn cat. There is nothing more to say.
