Review on Ultra-Thin Battery Powered LED Cabinet Lights: SOAIY Touch Sensor Lights for Bedroom, Kitchen, Closet, Stairs, Bar - Pack of 3 by Michael Sharp

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for infrequent use but that's about it (battery life, like a flashlight, around 20-30 hours).

Edit: My review below still stands as it relates to the product, but their customer service has been fantastic and extremely responsive. They offered a full refund based on my disappointment with the product. I changed my rating to 4 stars because the company/people behind the product were willing to listen to me and solve my refund issues even though the product didn't live up to expectations. I've had these bulbs (warm white) for about 2 weeks. And I already have the second load of AAA batteries. I noticed that one of them started to dim more than the other two, so I tried new batteries and it came back to full brightness, but the other two did the same after about a day. Put new batteries in and they're like new. What is the problem. I calculated that I was only about 20 hours without these lights before changing the battery. I've seen several reviews saying the same thing. Although this product actually has a great form factor (size, weight, touch, dimming, etc.), it lasts about as long as a flashlight. Don't expect I don't regret my purchase, but I've used them as backlights behind monitors in my home office (for decoration and to offset some screen brightness at night; see attached image) and I've had them for around 1-2 hours at a time long used and again they died within 10 seconds 2 weeks you can see they look great and add a very cool element to the workspace but they just don't last long enough and it's difficult to treat them once every two weeks now . I need to move them to another part of the house and use them in a different function (emergency light if/when unplugged). there is electricity in the hallway or something). They looked great on my desk but their batteries drained so quickly. Now I have to look around for an alternative and I now have 3 "crash screens" that I don't really need or want on the market. But <$15 didn't break the bank so it's not a total loss but I certainly don't feel like I got what I wanted from this product. I gave a 2 star rating because they don't serve the purpose I bought them for. While they are functional and the dimmer works great, they should be sold as "emergency washers" as their battery life is equivalent to that of a regular flashlight (which we only use in very specific circumstances). These lights are the same, so they work, but for a very specific purpose. DO NOT BUY if you plan on using them for more than a few minutes at a time daily. They invest in batteries (and their constant replacement) and within a few weeks/months pay more for new batteries than for the actual product.
