Review on Hard EVA Travel Case for TASCAM DR-05 Portable Digital Recorder by Hermitshell by Charles Barlow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good compact hard case, but.

A person has two choices as to which half of the body they put the tascam recorder in (this is my specific application). When open, there is a mesh on one side of the case that will hold whatever is behind the mesh and prevent it from falling out. The other half is just the open half. The recorder fits behind the grille, but it's quite tight to slide in and out. I'm worried that I somehow bent the microphones on the top of the device when I pulled the device out of the case. I'm a little scared of holding the recorder by the open side of the case as there could be an uncontrollable fall if I open the case and something slips out of my hands. I believe this is a very well made case that will last quite a while and protect my investment. Only on the fussy side with difficulty inserting and removing the recorder from the more protected side of the case. It might break in a few months.

Pros
  • Material: EVA; Color: Black.
Cons
