Light hair is before pic, next are after 1 and 2 washes. I left it on 10 mins first time, 7 next time. The copper color is strong, it doesn’t dry out my hair and it doesn’t have much of a smell which is preferable to a strong smell for me. I wanted to start going back toward red hair but wanted a more natural, coppery tone than a true red. This does the job and does it well! I did use a light copper dye a week before receiving this product and it came out lighter than I wanted. Using this twice has got me to exactly my desired shade and I will continue to use it weekly along with a copper depositing shampoo for color upkeep.I did notice the first wash in between applications when I used a regular shampoo it faded significantly but I used it two days later and it perked right back up. I have natural curls so I cannot go a day between conditioning or I look like I stuck my finger in a light socket so I don’t have the option to skip washes to preserve color. Regular uses of this conditioner and the copper shampoo have held up well over the last two weeks, overall great product that did exactly what I had hoped it would do and left me with a natural shade of beautiful copper I’ve had a lot of people comment on.
