The strap pushes the phone out of the case

I am confused by all the good reviews as there is no way to attach this to my case and still keep my phone as secure as possible wear tell. I'm really upset and honestly wondering if the company ran an entire 'free with a good rating' campaign on this issue. It just doesn't work.
