I've tried using crates that require X number of crates to dump down the toilet, but I've never been sure if I pour the right dose. I used to use septic worm and liked it so I decided to try the pouches. Three months in a resealable plastic bag. They take up very little space and are easy to use. Just throw a bag down the toilet and flush twice. Without thinking whether the right amount has been poured or whether a fine mist of powder is floating in the air when pouring. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars out of 5 is that I still don't understand how plastic breaks down in a septic tank. .
