During a trip last spring in our C-Class RV, I noticed that the air conditioning stopped coming out of the dashboard vents whenever the unit was under load. I did a little research on YouTube and found that the problem is most likely in the vacuum reservoir and/or check valve. The problem is that Ford put them in inaccessible places, and when the dealer fixes them, the labor costs will drive the cost to almost $1,800 and up. Several YouTube videos show how to move the new reservoir and check valve to an easily accessible location above the passenger footwell. I routed a new vacuum hose under the hood through a duct in the front fender and into the footwell. After hooking up the new parts I took the RV for a ride and it runs like new for about $50 for all parts. Even if one of them needs maintenance again, they are easily accessible. I recommend this part.
