How difficult would it be to put a nut in the box? You'd better plan a trip to the hardware store or put some in your shopping cart when purchasing this item. I have an 8/2 cable I bought at a (blue) big store that needed a connector. I'll get this one working, but not after tweaking this one a little, although they do specify an 8/2 wire size for this connector. The inner diameter of the washer is smaller than the hole in the rubber, so it shouldn't be used at all if you have a stuck cable. Hole in the rubber 21/32, hole in the washer behind the rubber 19/32. (Interface)
