Not at all absorbent

These towels look nice and I like the fringes on the ends, but they are completely useless as real towels. Rubbing your hands or utensils against them does absolutely nothing and they basically repel water.

Pros

Absorbent, soft to the touch, textured, very light; used as a face, gym, fingertip, plate, pestemal tea towel and table runner in 16' x 40' (large size).
