Change / take off / put on glasses during the day? Maybe you should reconsider your decision.

They're great because they hold your glasses in place and don't slip. And if you're the kind of person who puts on glasses in the morning and takes them off at night, you've found a real gem! The problem for me is that I don't wear a pair all day. Every day I use varifocals, sunglasses, computer glasses, reading glasses and sometimes even without them. The problem is that these holders really hold up! They are not easy to put on and take off, and you need to adjust the long part that hangs behind your ear. I found myself putting my glasses away and ready to go out in sunglasses, and then I reminded myself that I needed something, but I didn't want to put them back on. Little did I know it would adjust so much for takeoff and landing. Also, due to the rigidity, they caused sores behind the ears. I've since seen softer brands that can solve this problem. For now, I just took a rubber band and wrapped it around where the earpiece flexes on the temples of my glasses. That little rubber nub gives me grip and keeps them in place - almost as good as this one - and they're easy to put on and take off. And it doesn't hurt your ears. So if you're wearing a pair and want a firm hold, you might be lucky. If, like me, you're constantly taking glasses off and on, refuse. Too many problems. And it's too painful.
