Like everyone else I think ink cartridges are bloody expensive. I tried to get away cheaper by buying them. I double and triple checked to make sure I have the correct model for them to work. Once I was 100% sure they would work with my printer, I ordered them. When I installed them, my printer didn't recognize them. I put original cartridges in, I thought maybe something is wrong with the printer. nope He recognized them. I tried these cartridges again. I'm pretty tech savvy now so I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing when it comes to technology. I've tried various things to see if my printer can recognize them, but nothing has worked. In the end it's just money down the drain. The printer now sits on a shelf like a giant paperweight. At least I can buy original Epson cartridges if I need something in color. Until then you can sit. I use an HP laser printer. It can only print in grayscale, but it serves my purpose.
