Having tested both this unit and the DataVac I can conclude that this unit is better. The problem with the DataVac is that its body is made of metal which gets very hot and also the body is made of two parts that are joined together in the middle of the device. This is an inherent design flaw that results in air being blown through the case during operation, reducing the overall effective flushing capacity of the device. Some devices are worse than others. However, this Airrow does not have this problem, its body is made of high quality ABS plastic (the same used in football helmets) and is actually slightly more powerful, also without fixing a design flaw compared to the DataVac. None of the fans are a substitute for fine dust from computer components such as B. deep-seated dust in heat sinks. I don't think there is anything better than compressed air in this regard. However, it will do a pretty good job of removing dust from your computer case and dust from fans. If you're considering the DataVac ED500, go for this one.
