I purchased these because I wanted to make my car's interior a bit brighter at night. Both my car's map lights and dome light uses 194 bulbs. I put one of these in each map light- no problem. They fit snugly. When I went to change out the overhead dome light, I found that I had to try multiple bulbs in the pack before one fit. The first two I tried fit so loosely that they didn't provide a stable connection. They wiggled loosely. I tried a third one from the pack and that one fit snugly.I suppose that's why I ordered a ten pack when I only needed three individual bulbs. When you buy cheaper LEDs, it seems like all of the manufacturers seem to have questionable and/or inconsistent quality.At least these are bright and throw the light consistently in all directions. I've tried two other brands and had to return them because their light output was horrible. Yes, they were bright- but if most of the light is thrown in the wrong direction, you don't actually get much benefit. The bulbs from this manufacturer seem to do a much better job of providing consistent light in all directions.
