These tiny gold hoop earrings were ordered for my teenage daughter who was having trouble getting her second piercing in one ear. Her first piercing was fine and she could wear anything in it, even cheap, rough metal. However, the second piercing, perhaps because it was closer to the cartilage, just wouldn't heal and caused her so much trouble. She tried sterling silver hoop earrings but it didn't work. I gave her a gold and diamond earring to try, but because she had a stud and the piercing was higher, she wasn't comfortable trying to sleep in it. We ordered these earrings for her and they were just gorgeous! Her irritation, redness and swelling disappeared almost immediately and she no longer had any problems. Her ear has healed and the hoop looks great as a second piercing.
