This is my favorite everyday beard balm. Let me just say that I spare no expense when it comes to bear grooming and I have a drawer full of balms ranging from $10-$30 and up that are only surpassed by this product. It doesn't leave a strong residue feeling on the beard and its consistency makes it easy to apply just the right amount to the fingertip, preventing over application. As for the smell, I like it, but it's not at all like other bay rum flavors I've ordered from other companies. Smells of cinnamon on first use. The smell is not strong, after 2 hours the smell will disappear. I despise strong colognes and work very closely with others, favoring neutral/lightly scented products. This stuff checks all the boxes.
