Don't have an overlock machine, not even sure if it's the same as a sewing machine or not. Based on advice I found online and mentioned here by other reviewers, I bought this for my Monoprice MP Select Mini 3D V2 3D printer. It really is a perfect fit and good coverage. You really want to protect your 3D printer from dust as much as possible. This cover lets you do that in a very nice way for just a few bucks. They should add a separate listing to Revain naming the 3D printer cover, probably more so than "serger" - don't be offended if you have a serger or know what it is.
