Review on 💡 Versatile Aluminum Gooseneck LED Wall Mount Light Sconce Lamp with Switch - Plug Wired for Bedroom Reading & Multi-Purpose Lighting (Cool White) by Jason Bell

I bought this light to illuminate a dark part of my basement boiler room. I knew it was small from other reviews but didn't realize how small it was until I received it. Although it's small, it illuminates the area well so I can see my oven if I need to change the filter or take the lid off and work inside. It also does a great job of lighting up my home networking gear. "Bulbs" are built into the lantern and cannot be replaced. The arm is flexible but not very strong. I had to redirect it several times to keep it in place. The only thing that bothers me is the wiring. There is no back cover, the cables hang out inside. There is a bracket that needs to be removed to mount it on the wall but nothing to hold the wires in place. I've attached a photo to show what I mean. Like most Chinese-made products of this type, it is not UL-approved, so there is a risk that it could short out and possibly catch fire. The instructions are fun, like most Chinese instructions, with broken English and odd grammar and words. The second step of the instructions seems to indicate that you should wire it up, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've attached a copy so you can see for yourself.
