Review on 🧽 GRIT GUARD - The Original Grit Guard Insert: Effectively Separating Grit from the Mitt, Blue (2 Pack) by Robby Agrawal

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product but MAY require minor modifications

These covers are great but depending on the type and size of 5 gallon pail you are using they may not fit. This is my suggestion for you. Take these shin guards to a major hardware store and try them out in the many different buckets they carry until you find one that allows the shin guard to hit the ground. Also ensure that there is little or no clearance between the sidewall of the bucket and the guard. If you buy a bucket that's too "loose" or too big for the keeper, they'll float on top of your laundry or dishwashing bucket, defeating the purpose of the purchase from the start. I didn't, but I bought the right one. Buckets for these guards. A bucket must have formed something unusual when one of my guards swam. *** HERE is the golden tip! Take the zip ties and wrap them around the outer sand shield at all four points closest to the cross ribs. The sleepers act as spacers in places where the perimeter of the railings tends to shrink slightly during the molding process. You can try more or less, more or less spacers depending on the gap you want to fill. GENIUS! .sorry it wasn't my idea :)
