Review on πŸ’‘ Enhance Power Connectivity with Powerlet (PAC-043) Powerlet Plug to Rigid Cigarette Socket Adapter by Jason Pruett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just what the doctor ordered Pt. 1

Does a good job. Designed for use in the Powerlet socket of BMW vehicles. Some bike accessories, and the BMW bike in particular, use Powerlet-branded 12V sockets instead of the more familiar 12V socket, also known as the cigarette lighter socket, to power devices such as GPS and various RF detectors, as well as heated clothing. They fit more securely with a firm click than a 12V socket and plug combo, which is often free to vibrate. The downside is that most electronics in the US come with a standard 12V plug and won't fit BMW and some other manufacturers outlets. A solid click and a tight fit on the 12V plug. It was made by the same people who brought you the outlet, so that's to be expected. If you have a "BMW" type socket, you need it to use US-designed devices. This is just the beginning, so reliability has yet to be fully evaluated, but so far everything is working reasonably well. 2 AUKEY CC-S1 USB car charger with dual 2.4Ax2 ports
