Excellent value for a competent smaller flash

I finally bought this flash after reading many positive reviews from m4/3 users on various forums as a main flash replacement for a Bower device had read oh what i heard. 5 years. I never liked the Bower flash as the locking mechanism always loosens and the flash loses proper contact with the shoe. I just stopped using it because of this and other issues. I was very happy with the Godox TT350 as soon as I took it out of the case. First, there's the "bang for the buck" factor of getting a TTL, slave, and HSS capable flash for less than $90, including the body, diffuser cap, and color filter (I spent over $100 for paid for a Bower machine). without accessories). . What really impressed me about Godox is the build quality. If it feels very solid, with a "firm but not too tight" feel to things like the tilt/tilt head and control buttons that (to me) indicate good construction. Then there's the ratchet wheel. Hooray! The flash no longer hangs around during normal use. I've tested it through a few basic steps and it's a very competent little device. In fact, my Rogue diffuser plate fits perfectly (the bower was too big). I've used Slave (with Bower as Master) with no problems. I haven't bought the trigger unit yet as I wanted to try the flash myself, but I will definitely buy one next time. Overall, I'm surprised this flash has this build and features for less than $85. There are flashes that cost twice as much but have fewer features, and those that have the same features cost about 3-4 times as much. ADVANTAGES: Robust construction. Very important. Good performance and GN for the size. Uses only 2 batteries. CONS: Recycle time is slightly slower than my Bower flash (which used 4 batteries).
