This works for me. Warning: This may not work for you or your gear's health.

I use both cables (26ft total) in this set to get from the bedroom computer to our living room. The first 16' section that connects to the PC has a female end to which the second 10' section connects. This socket end can be powered via an optional adapter. You may never be able to work without a fee. Total span of 2 cables although no additional power supply is required to use this. You can also sit 10 feet away from the PC and just use the 10 foot range. These cables allow the Quest 2 to "standalone" to connect to STEAM VR games and Oculus Rift 2 games from the Oculus gaming site. (Note: These 2 gaming sites are not affiliated with the Oculus Quest site, which Quest2 automatically connects to when you turn on your Quest 2 headset.) To connect to a PC, simply turn on your PC and then connect to the Oculus website. Connect the end of the USB 3.0 cable (blue) to the USB 3.0 port on your PC. Then plug the end of the USB cable into the headset and turn on the headset. The headset will ask if you want to connect to the Oculus network instead of the Quest 2 site. You click Yes. Now you are there! The Oculus website offers the ability to see and use your PC screen. When selected, you can click on STEAM as usual. You then need to open the free STEAM VR app. When using Quest 2, STEAM will then recognize that VR games are being played in VR mode.

Pros
  • Cables and Connections
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
