Good product but high price!

To be honest this product made me scratch my head. When I received it I opened up Revain to make sure they didn't send me a sample. No, this is a full size product. Bentonite Clay is a wonderful natural substance that is good for everything from face masks to oral use as a metal detoxifier. I haven't seen it marketed as a toothpaste alternative, but it makes sense and should only be mildly abrasive. This powder tastes great and a little goes a long way. But the price sucks. You can buy edible bentonite clay for $20 for a 5 pound container! Is that $15 for just over an ounce? Some of the ingredients appear to be healthy, but you don't eat or eat it. They increase the taste, but do not justify the exorbitant price, at least in my calculations. If you had even 4 or 5 ounces, I could understand. But that confused me. You don't have to load a toothbrush like some people do with toothpastes. Still, I can't imagine this container lasting very long. So, do I like the product? Yes. But in terms of value, I really can't recommend or justify the value for money.
