I wanted you all to know that the water pump kit works great. One thing didn't quite fit. Screws are too long. I had to use old screws. I would tighten them and still stay 1/8 inch from the water pump housing. So you can either cut them out or reuse the old ones. If the seller is reading this review and would like to have the parts manufacturer make a small screw adjustment, this kit would be perfect. I think this kit will fit a variety of years 1968 and up. Make sure the bodywork of the water pump sits flush with the water pump plate, it fits neatly and I almost missed it. This design, while cheap looking, is much better than the original. The original used a prop to force water onto a cooling screen and drive a water pump. Normally you would need to be in gear with assistance and rev the rpm slightly above idle to get adequate cooling, making sure your water tank is full of water to cover at least the first few exhaust cowl mounts for cooling during the test Be careful not to prolong your test by testing the engine for 15 minutes, hot water formed in my 35 gallon water tank and some oil on top. I'm glad my cooling system is working.
