Very good hydraulic spring has a very cool movement ruined by the latch sticking to the connector surface and stopping it midway. every time I push it back in with my hand as it slides into the countertop. For us, this actually makes it easier to use as you don't have to stand there and hold the latch open until it's fully open. Highly recommend this 'mod' as it can be run in seconds with a Phillips #2 slot and easily restore the original locking action.
