It's hard to understand how a company can produce such a faulty product. The overall design and assembly of the lampshade is just awful. Bought these lights twice. The first time around the lampshades that wrap around the brass rings were too long, the velcro fell off and the wrong side of the velcro got stuck to the rings rendering the whole arrangement completely unusable. Also, the touch sensor on one of the lights didn't work. Thing is, I REALLY want these lights to work because they have all the features I need. Hoping that maybe the first purchase was just defective, I decided to buy it again. The second time the touch mechanism worked on both lamps, but there were still serious problems with the lampshades. This time they were trimmed and the right side of the velcro was glued to the rings. However, I couldn't get them to wrap smoothly around the rings, the velcro started falling off again, and while the length of the goggles was correct, the width was slightly wrong, leaving one side wider than the other. Very poor quality control. I actually chose to keep them because the bulbs themselves work great and I really like their features. I ended up buying my own lampshades as a solution, bringing the total cost of these lamps to around $100.
