Review on Just Dance Kids Wii by Robert Grind

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great fun for kids and families!

Last Christmas my 5 year old daughter and I tried the Wii for the first time, we played our family's Just Dance 2 game and absolutely loved it. My daughter was really very tired, but she didn't know any of the songs and the movements were too difficult for her. When my husband bought us our own Wii last month I found this game while looking for another Just Dance game. Good price! I can't find this price in stores, that's for sure. We got her this tonight as an early Valentine's Day gift and she LOVES it. Our 2.5 year old girl loves it. She continues to remove the wiimote and dance. b/c wiimote just gets in her way! ha ha. but my 5 year old loves the choice of songs and the moves are a bit lighter but not childish. I don't see any 10 year olds really enjoying this game but I would say it's great for families with younger kids and even I enjoyed dancing with them. It's true what others say. and Yo Gabba Gabba don't follow the well-known rules, but that's obviously due to copyright infringement or something. I was amazed at how much fun it was to dance to nursery rhymes like "I worked on the railroad," I thought it was really corny and silly, but I had a lot of fun myself. Probably the biggest disadvantage for me were the children. Singing songs instead of real singers, but after a while you get used to it, and in my opinion it's not disgusting. I would definitely recommend it for kindergarten and in a few years, as well as for the parents of these children. Samples prefer reg. Just dance I think. Definitely lots of fun and a great game for beginners; You can use up to 4 remotes at a time (I think we only have 3) and they will all do the same dance at the same time and this will compare your results. Great for fun family nights out!
