Right out of the box you'll notice that these blades are very different. They come out of the packaging bent. Every second wiper blade I've bought in the last 35 years is straight. Not only is Bosch a great automotive products company, they somehow created the best all-weather wiper blade. Because it fits better on the windshield, it cleans ice and snow better, and ice doesn't seem to stick to the curved slats as easily. You will notice the difference immediately. I bought a pair for my Chevy truck and after trying them once I installed them in my Ford. The instructions that come with them aren't great, so I replace the Chevrolet and Ford wiper arms like this: I bend the wiper blade and arm attachment back to the "away from the window latch" position. If your car doesn't do this, place a bath towel under the armrest and simply lift it a few inches off the windshield to complete the process. up or down and take the blade out of your hand. To reattach, I carefully fold the plastic cap off the new wiper blade, remove it and slide it about 1 inch down the arm, then slide the new blade onto the cap into the center shaft and tuck it into the arm. and then lock the blade in the center of the attachment, it clicks when locked - it's a two step process.
