This is my third purchase for Butt Lifter panties, and each time I buy a pair, I learn a little more about various types that help to correct different issues.As a size reference I am 5’2” and I weigh much less than 100 lbs. My chest is a normal size for my body at 34B, and I have a relatively small waist (23”- 24”). However, below my waist I am very, very thin, with 30” hips and pencil thin legs, which gives me a boyish figure.In order to address this issue, I used to wear long flowing tops over my tight fitting jeans and leggings. In addition, I had to wear a cinch belt with a body con dress for some definition between my waist and legs, which defeats the purpose of a form fitted dress.My first ‘butt lifter’ purchase did not work for me at all, it cinched in my waist, which was NOT what I wanted, therefore my ‘already’ thin waist looked even smaller, but it did not give me any shape below my waist. I was disappointed that I still had a flat, smooth and level appearance, rather than an hour-glass figure. Therefore, that type of ‘butt lifter’ is more for slimming down the waist to offer some definition between the waist and the hips.The second pair that I bought worked out much better, as they had padded inserts which is necessary for a flat and ‘non-existent’ behind. Consequently I learned that it’s impossible to ‘lift’ a butt when there is none there to lift, and therefore some necessary padding is required. However, although this offered me a nice derriere shape, there were a few details that needed some improvement. One negative factor was the thick waistband around the top, and this showed a line when wearing a form fitted dress. My other issue was the ‘high-cut’ area above the top of my legs, and there would have been a smoother effect if the panty had ended at the top of my legs and right below my hips.Therefore, this is my third pair of ‘butt lifter’ panties, and this brand got everything right.These ‘butt lifter’ panties are a full sized piece and they fit from my waist down to the top of my hips and thighs. Inside the backside of the panties are two deep pockets with included full sized and removable pads that fit directly over the cheeks. These pads are wedged in securely, remain snug against my body, and they don’t slide around at all. Although the pads feel soft against my skin, they offer me a firm looking derriere appearance in my leggings, jeans and in my form fitted skirts and dresses. The top elastic around my waist is smooth and thin which lies flat against my middle and with no visible lines. The elasticized panties reach all the way to the top of my legs (similar to the comfortable ‘Boyshort’ style) and finished with about 2” of lace, which will smooth out any minor bulges. Therefore, these panties are form-fitted and they do not squeeze me along my waist, nor do they pinch the top of my legs, consequently I forget that I have them on, and they are comfortable for all-day wearing.Although this padded panty is regular underwear, I prefer to wear my usual bikini panties underneath, and use the ‘butt lifter panty as an underwear accessory, much the same as a petticoat or slip. In addition, the elasticized material on these shapewear panties hides all visible panty lines.Therefore no lines show around my waist, no lines show around my hips or butt, and there are none showing from the top of my thighs, right under my hips.Even though they only add an inch to my hips, they redefine my derriere’s shape for a more rounded and feminine appearance. Therefore, rather than adding inches, they offer a shapely contour and firm up any sagging or flattish rear end.I’m very pleased with the improvements of my figure and however, I thought that I would try some different wearing techniques to receive the best results. One way was successful, but my other idea did not work out.THIS METHOD WORKS FOR ME – I look better when I wear my padded butt lifter over my stockings. My pantyhose stockings tend to restrict the butt lifter’s enhancement because it tends to tighten and hold everything in, which was the opposite result that I was looking to receive.THIS OTHER PROCESS DID NOT WORK AT ALL – Just out of curiosity, I tried having both pads together in one pocket. Although I received a ‘bigger’ butt, it was bigger but not better, because when ‘doubled up’ I lose the round and ‘shapely’ contour that I am determined to get. Therefore, in this case ‘bigger is NOT better’, a subtle change is much prettier, and most important, they present me with a very natural looking appearance.This is my third ‘butt lifter’ purchase, because I gave my first one away. The first one scrunched in my waist, and it did not have any padding.Therefore, it did absolutely nothing for my appearance and my bottom half of my figure remained as flat as a boy. My second ‘butt lifter’ gave me all the results that I wanted, but I didn’t like the thick waistband around my middle, and the panty had a higher cut above the legs. However, this last purchase of a padded shapewear panty redefines and curves a sagging and/or flat derriere, the padding remains secure within the back pockets, and they don’t move around. The thinner elasticized waistband is better, and bottom part covers the minor bulges from my hips to the top of my thighs, which offers me a nice snug fit.Therefore this third one is a keeper for me and it does exactly what I need it to do. This offers my figure a firm, rounded, shapely, and very natural looking feminine appearance, and there are no tell-tale signs that I’m wearing a ‘butt lifter’ underneath.
