I wanted to experiment with this product and found that this TIM lowers the core temperature by 3-4 degrees compared to regular thermal paste when placed between a heatsink and an integrated CPU Heat sink is used at 100% load. The temperature delta of my processor does not exceed 43, and another 3-4 degrees more really does not hurt. Given that the thermal conductivity is 7 to 20 times higher than traditional paste and the temperature delta doesn't increase proportionately, it's pretty clear that using a TIM with a much higher thermal conductivity placed between a heatsink and an IHS will not open any possibilities. major bottlenecks for heat transfer. My conclusion is that while the difference is measurable, it's not very helpful and not worth it given the added cost and complexity over regular pasta. I would only recommend this if you are running at maximum temperatures and all other options are unavailable or exhausted. For anyone else evolving, myself included, a good quality regular paste is recommended. I have to say that this product seems to be of good quality and just because it doesn't suit everyone doesn't make it a bad product hence five stars.
