Badass - Headphones

Our autistic adult son loves to watch videos with headphones. The problem is that he is very rude to them. No matter what we tried, his headphones lasted at best a month before he destroyed them. We bought them 9 months ago and they are still in excellent condition. Anyone looking for high-quality, audiophile sound is looking for the wrong headphones. That's not what they're made for. These are the ones that schools use to discourage kids from screwing them up. This is their main advantage. These headphones are very rigid, but they can be adjusted. They felt pretty comfortable when I wore them, but only took a few minutes to set them up. They're better than the school headphones of the 70's and 80's. Our son doesn't seem to have any issues with wearing them, but they are heavy and bulky. You definitely won't be using them for jogging. A note on their setup: There are volume controls on each ear that were turned all the way down when we got them. They can be as loud as regular headphones. If you're setting them up for a child or someone with a disability, you'll need to test them yourself to make sure they're not too loud. I decided to attach the volume controls with epoxy or hot glue so he couldn't turn them up too loud, but I could adjust the volume on his computer and prevent him from adjusting it, so I didn't. Should do. Now he can reduce them, but not increase them. All in all, great headphones if longevity is important to you.
