On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 is the original speaker and 1 is the tin can and cord. At different volume percentages 10%-35% 935%-40% 8.5/1050%-65% 7/1065%-75% 6/10+75% 5/10 The distortion develops very quickly, more than 40% in Compared to my other XPS which still has the original speakers. At all volumes, they're a bit deafer than the originals. They don't appear to be grey, failed QC devices as there are visible differences, but I have a feeling the speaker quality on them varies quite a bit from device to device.
