I used a different type before that didn't last long due to poor design. The spiral holes keep the softer material from crumbling and I didn't have any exposed cotton (like another brand I've had). I think he does a great job cleaning, we're minimalists when it comes to overpowering, over-scented detergents and fabric softeners. I use hypoallergenic soap for the dirtier stuff but it's great for everyday washing. Saves a lot of money and is better for the environment. I will get more of this.
