I'm not used to wearing something on my wrist. I gave up wearing bracelets and watches many years ago, so most of the time it just annoys me when something is hanging on my wrist. I even roll up my sleeves all the time. But I really wanted a Fitbit, and here I am. I got my Fitbit and a couple of extra straps (including this one) yesterday. I was worried that the sports strap that came with it would be too uncomfortable and I wanted something changed to look more elegant, so based on good reviews and reasonable price I went with this one. It was a great decision. I have light brown (#7). I've attached some photos to show it looks exactly like the photos. I believe in the claim that it is real leather because it looks and feels like high quality, soft and supple leather. The stitching, detailing and fasteners are all of excellent quality and make the Fitbit look like a watch. They are thin and light, but at the same time quite durable. I had no problems with the clasps which I fastened and unfastened twice. Only time will tell if it will hold up, but I expect it will. A photo shows it next to an original Fitbit sport band, which is oversized. They're about the same length. The leather strap attaches much easier and stays secure. Although they both have quite a few buckle holes, I find this leather strap just enough/not too tight to be easier to tighten than the original Sport strap. Of the three straps I have now, the other two are the Fitbit Sport Band and the spare woven nylon strap, which is the most comfortable. It's soft, lightweight and has the slimmest profile. It's easy to forget it's me, which is a big plus for me. I see buying more in other colors.
