To be honest, I expected much more from headphones for 7900 in terms of sound. I would like to note that out of the box the sound is a bit dry with an excess of bass, listening to such a sound after my Sony MDR-ZX600 was unpleasant and tiring, but still the middle and highs are well detailed. Together with the Xperia Z1 and the refinement of the sound with a built-in equalizer, I got a sound close to the old headphones. But still, an overabundance of bass cannot be eradicated (you will have to get used to it)! But it's nice to listen. Separately, Bass Boost: a nasty feature that boosts the "low end" while dulling the "mid" and "high", which makes listening to music also unpleasant and tiring. One thing pleases - you can turn it off and not turn it on. What is very important, such headphones “warm up” for quite a long time - about a month. ZX600 warmed up in a week. We were pleased with high-quality materials, reliability of fastenings and ease of wearing - they do not press, they sit well and do not fly off when shaking. At the same time, they look quite impressive. Autonomy pleased. With daily listening at 3-4 hours, the headphones live for five to six days. The design is top notch. By the way, now everyone is trying to listen to them and spit at the sound (they don’t know the secret weapon - the equalizer). Good headphones, the sound "out of the box" let us down a bit, but this is fixable. Added on 10/12/2022. A year later, the plastic swivel mount of the right ear broke. SC refused to repair due to lack of parts. I had to modify it myself: first I put a metal clamp, but it did not help for long. Then he made a screed with wire, which eradicated the possibility of rotation (does not interfere), but gave strength and still works.
