I didn't know there was such a thing as an upholstery repair kit until I looked for it online. for a way to fix an underwired bikini top that had an underwire popping off. I'm a man, I don't have a sewing machine, and the crappy sewing kits I've bought for random emergencies just can't stand up to the tough fabric of a swimsuit. I bought this set with thread and strong needles and was able to sew underwires onto my girlfriend's bra. The real test was that we swam for hours and not once did she complain about the bones popping out. It's magical and very handy to have on hand.
