Can't say I hate this product, it blisters when connected to an air pump. My main issue with this is that there are only two transparent loops on each end to attach it, this product just wants to float. I would have to build a small mound of gravel to keep it down and when I changed the aquarium setting to sand it just refused. Every time one of the fish or shrimp hit the pipe, they were thrown up into the tank and trying to get them back down became too much trouble. In general, I'd say this will probably work if you have larger rocks to anchor, but if you're using regular aquarium gravel or sand, use another product with more surface area to hold it. .
